Nice location and aesthetics. Amenities feel somewhat outdated. Bed was two rock hard twins pushed together which weren't even the same height. Bar has a good selection of craft beer. Food is decent, though beware of steaks being overcooked and tough.
Looking to spend a weekend with my beautiful fiance here at these cottages. This would be a real good retreat and a well needed time for relaxation for us! She deserves something like this so much!! She is the best and only deserves better then what best can offer.
Knowing I am a huge fan of breakfast, my friends & family surprised me with a delicious meal for my birthday. We sat on the veranda overlooking the finely manicured grounds. Breakfast was excellent with unique selections artfully plated. Never had to ask for anything...Mary & Lindsay tended to our every need. This was a fantastic way to start another year! Quaint cabins & rooms with antique furniture. Nestled in the woods, but close enough to Tryon to walk to restaurants and "downtown."
Stayed here at a difficult time after the passing of my father. The staff, especially Linda and Mary, felt more like family and made us feel so welcome and relaxed, even to go as far as placing flowers and a sympathy card in our room. The breakfast was consistently delicious and creative. Our room was very quaint and comfortable. The grounds are beautiful. I don't know most of the other options in this area but I highly recommend the Pinecrest Inn.
